# Multi-Chain Payments

> Accept USDC from any chain via Circle's CCTP V2.

Conduit uses Circle's CCTP V2 (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) to accept USDC payments from any supported blockchain. The payer doesn't need to be on Arc — they can pay from wherever they are.

## Supported sending chains

| Chain | Status |
| ---------------- | --------- |
| Ethereum Mainnet | Supported |
| Base | Supported |
| Arbitrum | Supported |
| Optimism | Supported |
| Polygon | Supported |
| Avalanche | Supported |

You always receive **USDC on Arc Network**, regardless of which chain the payer sends from.

## How it works

1. Payer opens your Conduit payment link
2. They connect their wallet — on any supported chain
3. They pay in USDC from their chain
4. Circle's CCTP V2 bridges the payment to Arc
5. You receive USDC on Arc in under a second

Neither party needs to know or care about network selection. Conduit handles the routing.

## Why it matters

Before Conduit, if your payer was on Ethereum and your wallet was on Arc, the payment would fail or require manual bridging. With multi-chain support there are no "wrong network" errors, no bridging required, and no failed transactions from chain mismatch.
