# Seedless Wallets

> Sign up with email or Google — no seed phrase, no MetaMask.

You don't need MetaMask or a seed phrase to use Conduit. Sign up with your email, Google account, or a passkey — and a wallet is created for you automatically.

## Signup options

## How it works

Seedless wallets are powered by **Privy**, a professional wallet infrastructure provider. When you sign up, Privy creates a non-custodial Arc wallet, the private key is secured using MPC (multi-party computation), and you authenticate with your email or Google instead of a seed phrase.

  Conduit is non-custodial. We never hold your private keys or control your wallet. You can export your wallet at any time from your profile settings.

## Why it matters

The biggest barrier to crypto adoption is wallet setup. Seed phrases scare people away. Seedless wallets make Conduit accessible to people who've never used crypto, businesses onboarding employees, and creators who just want to get paid.
