# Username Payments

> Claim a @username and get a personal pay page.

Claim a @username and get a personal payment page at `conduitpay.xyz/u/yourname`. Share your username instead of a wallet address.

## Why usernames matter

Wallet addresses are 42 random characters. Usernames are human.

## How to claim your username

    Go to **Account → Profile** and connect your wallet.

    Letters, numbers, and underscores only — 3 to 20 characters.

  <Step title="Sign to verify">
    Sign the message to prove you own the wallet, then save.

* Case insensitive
* Can be changed any time
